Mrs Garner's letter --- Mrs John N Garner - Uvalde Tex - Nov 18, 1941: My Dear Mrs Fleming --- I am returning your copy of the Nance Memorial - I am sorry you sent it as I feel so responsible for books of value. I know that another copy sould not be procured as only a limited number were printed. While in Washington D C I got this book from the Library of Congress a number of times. I cannot give you the name or rather names of the two Nance girls who married a Garner. The last one was in Tennessee & I think her name was Mary. She & her husband are buried some where in the country in the vicinity of Knoxville Tennessee. --- I do hope the book will reach you safely. --- With all good wishes --- Ettie R Garner ( Mrs Jno N Garner).
